The eighth expansion for EverQuest, EverQuest: Omens of War, has been announced! And that’s not all that’s going on. EverQuest II was shown at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles to tremendous acclaim, and a sequel to the EverQuest-themed console action-adventure hit Champions: Return to Arms™ was announced.

A new EQ Tutorial has been launched, making it easier than ever for new gamers to find their way in Norrath. And new features keep being added to the game, like the new and improved graphics engine.

60 representatives from player guilds and the game press came to Sony Online Entertainment's San Diego offices on the weekend of June 5th to discuss the game and their issues with the EQ dev team. This unprecedented summit of gamers and the game's creators was a unique opportunity for all, and the results were extremely productive.
